Generation tech Today's topic will be a bit different than the usual Star Wars content as this is more about the its community rather than the story itself.
There is a youtube channel called Generation Tech which has even formed its futuristic humanism centrist view deeming other most alien races inferior, sounds oddly familiar right? but never judge the book by its cover so let's analyse first.
Background:
in the past years Star Wars have gone through a lot, some were good like The Mandalorian or the 7th Session of The Clone Wars but there were horrible ones too. A LOT OF THAT. From the point Disney bought the franchise it had a serious downgrade in all terms. Just think about Star Wars Rebels which was a kids show and that's fine as long as you don't try to promote the show to older audiences but Disney wanted a Clone Wars like series without any blood and gore which to be honest is somewhat necessary, remember the sacrifices in the Clone Wars? the episodes dedicated to give something to think about, something you can bring with yourself after you have watched it. This kids show lacks it all and the films are about the same level. The films have useless characters so they can serve the trends like feminism or this black lives matter crap. Star Wars was great because you didn't had to be in a specific time or situation to enjoy it or feel like it gave you the feeling of something higher than you are just happened. In the Clone Wars I seen character development in all episodes story arcs while the only character development in the Sequels (SPOILER) is Kylo Ren realising killing his father was a bad idea, that's it. That's all the we shall carry with ourselves oh wait he dies, the only character that has any real future is gone so have fun with that. Honestly they should have killed all the other major characters because at least that would have seen as a bit of development but no, simply no.
Views:
After all this it's not easy to guess why real fans don't even care about these pranks and they rather develop their views and stories (yep there is a youtube channel for that too). The Prequels are loved by the newest generations for good reason, it depicts our modern society very well. The Clone Wars where Clones a.k.a. soldiers breed to combat fight the Separatist Droids whose are manufactured to kill. Both sides are forced to fight and problems like poverty; corruption or exploitation of the masses is pushed a side. The hero of this story is also a the villain of it as Anakin Skywalker is forced to do questionable things like murder younglings or destroy the jedi order, kill unarmed combatants, and transform the Republic into the Galactic Empire which sounds evil but in (some might say in a sarcastic) way it's the best for the people since the Galactic Empire brings work to even the most hide away planets or protection to planets which were raided by pirates or even worse criminals, destroy the cartels and most importantly secure peace.
The point is to unite humanity under one big “noble” cause which is to make devote more resource to our space technology and extend humanity all over and subdue aliens rather than letting them subdue us. Or something like that, whatever it's just a bunch of weeb thing but their content is good so advise watching them since they explore alternative scenarios, analyse battles, equipment and personalities or give tips like how to kill a jedi etc.
